Helical Piers
First, the soil underneath where the helical pier will be installed is removed. Then the helical piers are mechanically screwed into the ground. Heavy-duty steel foundation brackets are positioned underneath and against the foundation footing once the required depths have been reached.
The weight of the house is subsequently transferred to deep, competent soils via the helical piers. Once this is done, it is attempted to raise the house back to its former position. The soil around the foundation is then added back to cover the piers.
